Mader, as you will remember, was Sonny's bassist for over 3 yrs until he had a stroke after filming the "Dog" video. He had recovered very well and was playing in Canyon Creek Band in Ft. Worth, when he suffered another stroke on Feb. 8. He is currently going through therapy and is progressing. A benefit will be held for him on March 9th from noon - 8 p.m. at Rob's Billiard's and Sports Bar, 13930 Trinity Blvd, Ft. Worth. Phone number 817-355-1234. The benefit will be followed by a jam session. Mader's working very hard to get back to where he was before the stroke so he can continue his very long career in music. Cowboy Cool is a Guy that wears jeans that fit, not to loose and not to baggy. His jeans must be boot cut and jeans worn over his cowboy boots. He wears a western belt with a buckle medium size. His shirt is western cut and worn inside his jeans. His hat must fit to a T on his head. When Cowboy Cool walks, he must look like the clothes really make him, but that is only because he is so comfortable in his world.

Cowboy Cool is what many of us have been all of our lives. It just took a while for others to figure it out. I just came across your web page and think it is great. I used to come see you all the time at the Silver Spur (I think that was the name) in the Ft. Worth Stockyards in the early 90's. I am glad to see all is well and I really like your song "Cowboy Cool".

You make it out the way you want it. If you see your dreams and they are just in your reach but you can't seem to quite get to them, then reach deep inside and grab that "Ccowboy Cool" attitude. Because if you do that anything is going to be possible and you'll be able to reach for the stars!
